Confidence, Part 1. Confidence, defined.

Confidence: What Is It?

Confidence; it’s a quality that everyone can define but no-one can give to you but yourself. It’s a combination of trusting your capabilities, feeling comfortable in your own skin and having faith that you are able to handle the challenges that come up in your life.

You can tell when someone has it and we are all are, at some times in our lives, searching for it.

Arrogance and confidence are not the same thing.

Arrogance is often a Band-Aid for people who lack confidence; who think that they need to put other people below them in order to feel good about themselves. Arrogance comes from trying to control others and that comes from fear.

Confidence is about trusting yourself, which is about self-love and self-assurance.
