Art is good for your health, Yo!

Art can be a positive medium for expressing emotions, encouraging healthy self-esteem and discovering personal individuality. Perth North Medicare Local have receognised this and created two new programs aimed at youth who are experiencing "emotional issues or stress which is compromising their sense of well-being".  Both 8 week programs are free but places are limited.

The Art Yo program is for young people aged 13 to 17 and runs from the 31st of July until the 18th of September, from 4.30pm to 6.30pm. For more information, call Natalie Robertson on 9208 9592 or email her at [email protected]

The Art Gro program is for young adults aged 18 to 25 and runs from the 30th July until the 17th of September. For more information, call Christina Self on 9208 9501 or email her at [email protected] Both programs will be held in Osborne Park.

Referrals are needed from a GP, Psychologist, Social Worker or Allied Health Professional. Referral forms can be dowloaded from the attachments.
